About The Position

The Service Maintenance Technician performs small mechanical, and preventative maintenance repairs under close supervision of the Service Manager along with fellow experienced technicians. All the necessary tooling for this position will be supplied along with the opportunity for training and growth

Requirements

Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
Zero to two (0-2) year’s minimum experience with heavy equipment/diesel experience
Must have a valid California Class C driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Must be a good communicator and have good customer service skills.
Must read, write and speak English fluently.

Nice To Haves

Certification or degree from accredited trade program strongly preferred.
Experience using electronic devices such as laptops tablets, smart phones, and cell phone applications.

Responsibilities

Cleans equipment by operating wash rack steam cleaner and high pressure washer.
Maintains safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
Ensures proper operation of equipment by completing maintenance services and minor repairs; following manufacturer’s instructions.
Determines condition of equipment by inspecting equipment before and after use; reporting requirements.
Performs regular service and preventive maintenance tasks on equipment to keep in safe, dependable operating condition ensuring proper operations and the removal of parts and attachments.
Develops and maintains positive relationships with customers to increase overall customer satisfaction
Completes reports as requested by entering required information.
Continually updates product knowledge needed to work on new models.
Contributes to a team effort by accomplishing duties assigned.
Maintains safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Maintains shop tools, equipment, and work areas.
Other duties as assigned by Lead or Supervisor
