About The Position

Why M Physicians? At the Katie Hageboeck Children’s Cancer Research Fund Clinic, we offer world-class childhood cancer and blood and marrow transplant care for children and adolescents of all ages. Our caring team of pediatric hematologist-oncologists and other specialists focus on the treatment of cancers, blood diseases, anemia, disorders of blood clotting, immune deficiency and more! In addition, we are home to the Team One Four Infusion Center where we provide a wide range of outpatient infusions to pediatric patients. What you will do as a Service Line Manager: Actively leads staff and daily clinic operations by directly observing staff and clinic processes, using those observations to train staff, drive accountability and recognize opportunities for improvement This role will support infusion and clinical operations, along with partnering with our BMT (Blood and Marrow transplant) service line Reviews and approves direct reports’ work schedules, considering patient/family needs, staffing requirements, and policies and procedures Assesses professional development needs of staff and develops annual in-service training programs to meet those needs Shadows patients, providers, and staff as a way to provide on-the-job mentor and training Responsible for the financial performance of the clinic, including revenue/budget, infusion financial securing, expense management, and staffing efficiency. Implements corrective actions to ensure financial success of the practice in obtainment of financial targets Independently, in partnership with Human Resources, runs all human resource activities for employed team members; includes recruitment, on-boarding, staff assignments, recognition, and performance management Acts as a subject matter authority for quality and regulatory standards Has the ability to articulate the standards into daily practices, operations, and process improvement efforts as needed As the major interface between staff and system leadership, proactively identifies barriers to achievement and partners with all parties to develop improvement plans

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field
  • 3+ years of clinical nursing experience
  • 1+ year of experience leading multi-disciplinary teams of professionals

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in chemotherapy/infusion (preferred)
  • Current MN RN License (preferred)
