About The Position

Department: Service

Relationships: Reports to Service Manager. Will work in cooperation with Service Advisors and other Service Department personnel.
Functions:
Provide firm customer satisfaction.
Employee is often the customer’s first point of contact with the dealership and therefore must represent the dealership in a friendly/professional manner.
Responsible for welcoming customers, offering them hospitality, assessing, and meeting their needs.
Salary Range: $18.00-$20.00/hour

Requirements

• High School diploma or the equivalent.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• One year of experience operating a computer and a cash register.
• Professional personal appearance and good customer service skills.
• Must work well with others and with customers.
• Must be at least 21 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.

Responsibilities

• First physical contact with the customer.
• Gather vehicle information for the service advisor.
• Introduce customer to appropriate dealership personnel.
• Maintain smooth flow in service drive by directing customers where to park vehicle and directing customer to vehicle at time of pick up.
• Organize service area.
• Keep the area in and around the service aisle and adjoining areas clean and safe.
• May assist in shuttling service customers to and from dealership when shuttle driver is unavailable.
• Ensure customers are comfortable by directing customer to children’s area, snack area and television.
• Any other tasks deemed necessary per Management.
