Lauderdale BMW of Fort Lauderdale, a proud member of the Holman Automotive Group, is seeking a customer-focused MINI Service Advisor to support our MINI customers at our BMW Service Center in Fort Lauderdale. The MINI Service Advisor serves as the primary liaison between the Service Department and our MINI clients, ensuring clear communication, trust, and satisfaction throughout the service process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage customer expectations from initial write-up through vehicle delivery.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a customer-facing role within an automotive service environment preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; additional education or related training is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong communication, reading, writing, and basic math skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work effectively in a fast-paced service environment.
  • Proficiency with computers and basic office software.

Responsibilities

  • Greet MINI customers in a warm, professional, and welcoming manner, ensuring a positive and efficient service experience.
  • Assess customer concerns and vehicle needs, recommend appropriate maintenance or repairs, and obtain customer authorization for services.
  • Prepare and explain accurate service estimates, including cost, timing, and scope of work.
  • Clearly communicate recommended repairs, maintenance needs, and available options to help customers make informed decisions.
  • Provide regular updates to customers regarding the status of their vehicle and any changes to timelines or repairs.
  • Document all customer interactions accurately within the service management system.
  • Participate in required training sessions, manufacturer programs, and department meetings to stay current on MINI products and processes.
