About The Position

The Service Engineer will be responsible for supporting systems with a high-level configuration and integration of the following solutions: IP video surveillance, access control, enterprise wireless and networking; voice, data and fiber cabling, unified communications, and audio/visual solutions. They will serve as both an escalation point for all maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs and serve as a technical advisor to staff and clients. Requirements

  • High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education/experience
  • Current and valid US driver’s license
  • At least 5 years of experience in the physical security, IT or electronics field
  • Serve as a Service Professional (or equal) for a minimum of 6 years
  • Hold and retain at least 3 VMS and 2 access control certifications
  • Minimum of 2 years experience configuring physical security systems
  • Basic knowledge of network fundamentals, SQL database and Windows Server
  • Ability to communicate at a high level with customer IT staff
  • Ability to work with the customer to design system configurations
  • Ability to possess advanced system design and quoting abilities to assist sales when needed
  • Excellent external and internal communication skills
  • Organization, attention to detail and ability to multi task
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • Experience in configuring access control and surveillance systems
