The Role at a Glance – Land Rover Hinsdale Service Drive Porter

Service Drive Porters are responsible for the efficient flow of vehicles through the service drive.
In this role, you will support the Concierge and ensure that our valued customers have a positive experience when bringing their vehicle in and picking their vehicle up from service.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for Jaguar Land Rover automobiles and a desire to advance to our Concierge and Service Advisor career opportunities.

Requirements

• Must be able to drive and safely maneuver vehicles.
• Commitment to customer service.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Dependable, motivated, and a team player.
• 1+ years of previous work experience.
• Demonstrated customer service skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and meet insurability standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the efficient flow of vehicles through the service drive, moving cars as needed to make room for more cars.
• Moves vehicles from the service drive to the shop or the parking lot after vehicles are checked in.
• Promptly pulls up customer vehicles when called by the Cashier or management on the radio.
• Transports vehicles requiring a car wash, to the car wash area.
• Assists the Concierge with greeting customers and checking in vehicles.
• Assists in the printing of appointment sheets, vehicle history, and tags for the following day's appointments.
• Works with concierge and shop foremen to get as many cars as possible on the Active Reception rack.
