If you want to be part of a great team with endless possibilities for growth you’ve found your next career at SPATCO. SPATCO is looking for an energetic Service Dispatcher to join our team. This person will be responsible for maintaining the Service Technicians daily schedules and dispatches the technicians as service calls are completed. Schedule return trips with customers when parts are in. Maintain client data base with current information. Clear and concise communication with department managers, employees, clients, including keeping customer appraised as to company schedule and requested lead-times.

Requirements

  • Previous Office and/or Dispatch Experience Preferred
  • Must be dependable and detailed oriented
  • Customer Service experience: Must have knowledge of providing excellent customer service.
  • Strong communication: Must have the ability to listen and speak plainly and communicate effectively.
  • Able to multitask and perform a variety of tasks effectively.
  • Problem solving skills – must be able to prioritize the most important situations, evaluate and resolve issues in an efficient matter.
  • Work under time constraints efficiently and have the ability to work well with others.
  • Follow all company procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Dispatch service vehicles to appropriate locations according to customer requests, specifications, or needs.
  • Enter service calls into SAP and Job track.
  • Confer with customers or supervising personnel in order to address questions, problems, and requests for service.
  • Relay work orders, messages, and information to or from field personnel and branch management.
  • Monitor service personnel in order to accurately coordinate service and schedules.
  • Assist in processing and billing of service invoices.
