About The Position
Heritage Honda, a part of MileOne Autogroup, is immediately hiring an Automotive Service Dispatcher to join our high volume Parkville location. The Service Dispatcher plans and controls the flow of service work through the service department in a professional, timely manner while ensuring quality repairs. This role balances technician skill sets, job priorities, and customer needs in a fast-paced dealership environment while utilizing dispatch software to track repair orders and shop productivity. The Service Dispatcher serves as a key communication link between technicians, service advisors, and customers, ensuring work is completed professionally, accurately, and on time.
Requirements
- Prior dealership experience, required
- Reynolds & Reynolds experience, required
- High level of data entry and computer skills
- High level of customer service skills and ability to prioritize
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Professional, organized, and detail-oriented
Responsibilities
- Dispatch & Scheduling including receiving service requests and assign work to appropriate technicians based on skill level and availability
- Manage dispatch systems to optimize shop efficiency
- Monitor job progress and adjust priorities to meet deadlines and maximize productivity
- Prioritize urgent jobs and comebacks to ensure timely resolution
- Ensure accurate and complete repair order documentation, including complaint, cause, and correction
- Update job statuses and maintain organized customer files and repair logs in the system
