About The Position

We are currently looking for a Service Desk Technician for our new factory in Columbus, Ohio. This IT service engineer maintains, repairs, and troubleshoots desktop hardware and software packages. Other main responsibilities include: Interacts with end-users to identify current computing procedures and desktop-based LAN systems software operations and makes selection recommendations accordingly. Responsible for writing documentation to describe product corrections. Writes manual for end-users to describe installation and operating procedures.. Responsibilities: Responsible for formulating, reviewing, and implementing plans for desktop systems and low-voltage projects. Develop and implement solutions for IT service requirements, conduct assessments, and provide implementation support. Construct and promote the use of monitoring systems, access control systems, and audio-video conferencing systems within the company, and optimize their functionality. IT infrastructure post-maintenance, inspection, and optimization execution. IT asset management tasks including allocation, selection, optimization, inventory, reallocation, and disposal. Responsible for overall management of IT endpoint security. Responsible for the development, application, promotion, and maintenance of company's confidential software, desktop antivirus, endpoint threat intelligence, and other security systems. Complete other tasks assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree or its equivalent.
  • Familiar with IT concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • 2 to 4 years of related experience.
  • Previously exposed to some complex IT-related tasks.
  • Outstanding learning and communication skills

  • Excellent programming skills are preferred.
