About The Position

Murdock Auto Team of Logan is seeking a customer service-oriented and energetic Receptionist for the Service Department of their Hyundai dealership. This is a full-time position with negotiable hours and a pay range of $14-$18 per hour, depending on experience. The role involves greeting and communicating with customers and employees, providing professional service, and handling various administrative and customer interaction tasks. Applicants should be organized, detail-oriented, able to multi-task, and possess strong computer skills including Internet and Microsoft Office knowledge. The position also entails conferring with guests, directing them, monitoring activities, keeping records, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Answer phones promptly and professionally, transferring calls to the appropriate destination.
  • Perform courteous and professional pages.
  • Greet and accommodate walk-in customers promptly.
  • Provide timely, friendly, professional service.
  • Confer with guests by telephone or in person to provide information about products or services.
  • Direct guests to sales consultants or other appropriate staff members.
  • Monitor showroom and lot activities and help resolve concerns as needed.
  • Keep records of guests frequenting the showroom and lot.
  • Monitor interactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken.
  • Ensure that guests are being greeted and customers' needs are being addressed.
  • Proactively refer unresolved customer needs to designated departments for further investigation.
  • Direct guests with inquiries to guest waiting areas, restrooms, offices, and/or communicate services available for guests of the Murdock Auto Team.
  • Follow-up with guests to determine if their needs were met and their experience was of the best quality.
