About The Position

The Service Coordinator is responsible for maintaining SFS’s office management activities for the Service department, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction. This role involves scheduling service calls, coordinating necessary equipment and materials, creating Technician schedules, and managing emergency service requests. The Service Coordinator will also work with the Service Operations Manager to review and upload reports for customer access, communicate system impairments and service requests to appropriate managers, and provide backup assistance on phones for administrative tasks. Professional communication with both internal and external customers is essential.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 years of professional computer skills.
  • Efficient time management skills.
  • Developed organizational skills and ability to prioritize initiatives and business goals.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills.
  • Collaborator and ability to work with all levels of employees.
  • Strong diligence and accuracy.
  • Ability to effectively read, write and communicate in English with employees and customers.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to operate a computer.
  • Use Microsoft Office required.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record required.
  • Must be able to comply with SFS’s Drug and Alcohol policy and Background screening requirements, which may also include customer specific requirements based on contractual agreement.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree preferred.
  • 1 year scheduling facility services experience, preferred.
  • Experience with SalesForce preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule service calls with customers.
  • Coordinate the necessary equipment/materials accordingly.
  • Schedule emergency service with customers.
  • Create Technician schedules.
  • Schedule all necessary subcontractors, lifts as required.
  • Work with the Service Operations Manager to review reports and upload for customer access.
  • Communicate system impairments and service requests to the appropriate Manager.
  • Communicate with internal and external customers in a professional manner.
  • Provide backup assistance on phones for the administrative assistance.
  • Other duties as assigned.
