About The Position

Our Service Attendant is primarily responsible for preparing, loading, unloading and cleaning equipment for customers, maintaining inventory control of parts and equipment, maintaining equipment yard in an organized and good working order and performing shop maintenance functions.

Requirements

• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn to effectively use company software – with training.
• Ability to perform minor repairs and diagnostic work on all makes of equipment.
• A basic understanding of the terminology related to the products and services that the company sells.
• Ability to gain a working knowledge of equipment, its use and how equipment is operated.
• Availability and capability to travel/drive for business purposes.

Nice To Haves

• Basic repair and diagnostic experience with various types of rental equipment.
• Stable work history
• Caterpillar experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections as required by management.
• Maintain clean physical facilities; perform grounds maintenance, snow removal, and general upkeep.
• Perform weekly inventory of Foley assets; inform supervisor of low inventory levels.
• Wash & thoroughly clean equipment as needed.
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance to shop equipment.
• Open and close all gates on company yard daily.
• Drive to deliver and pick up equipment and supplies as needed.
• Travel is required for training and/or to assist at other locations.
