The SERVICE ATTENDANT is responsible for overseeing table maintenance, maintaining the flow of service, and assisting the servers in the dining room. Duties include greeting guests entering the restaurant, clearing food and utensils from tables, resetting tables, providing bread and water service, monitoring guest satisfaction, and assisting the kitchen in expediting the service process. The ideal candidate must be pleasant, conscientious, and professional with excellent knowledge of food and alcoholic beverage selections. They must be able to operate effectively as part of a team, communicate clearly, and ensure smooth service operations and quality service. General expectations include acting with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promote the culture and values of Bourbon Steak. The Service Attendant must ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, professional, gracious service at all times. They are expected to maintain clean and organized workstations that align with the restaurant's philosophy, culture, and standards of excellence. Recognizing or seeking areas for staff and restaurant improvement and offering positive solutions for change is also crucial. The Service Attendant will operate within the restaurant on a daily basis with efficiency, respect, friendliness, professionalism, teamwork, knowledge, patience, awareness, compassion, courtesy, and initiative. They must understand completely all programs, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs, as well as the philosophy of management and ownership. Consistent attention to detail and follow-through of all restaurant policies is essential, as is representing the restaurant professionally through effective communication, cooperation, and relationships with all business partners.
