About The Position
The position involves driving buses through a wash rack, scrubbing exteriors, and parking buses in assigned locations. Responsibilities include cleaning buses and service vehicles, completing cleaning forms, sweeping and mopping bus floors, cleaning interiors including walls, seats, and windows, and spraying for insects as required. The role also requires operating automated cleaning equipment, adding fuel to buses and service vehicles, steam cleaning engines, checking oil and water levels, and maintaining written records of buses parked and cleaned. Additional duties may include entering servicing and cleaning data using data entry equipment and lifting heavy covers and doors.
