Job Purpose: Must demonstrate a concern for the rights, privileges, and dignity of individuals served Shift work primarily but not limited to Monday through Friday from approximately 5 am to 8 am and then 3 pm to 8 pm; or a variation of that split working the busiest hours in the group home to assist during meals, bath times and medication administration Provides daily programming, training, direct care, and supervision to individuals served Will provide direct care and supervision to individuals with intellectual disability, mental illness, or substance abuse Shift work is primarily but not limited to Monday through Friday from approximately 5 am to 8 am and then 3 pm to 8 pm

Requirements

Must have high school diploma or GED
Must have valid TX driver's license and be insurable

Nice To Haves

Prefer some experience working with the IDD population

Responsibilities

Will implement treatment plans, crisis intervention, documentation, and supervising medications
Will maintain individual care in a safe, therapeutic and professional manner
Must be able to administer CPR
Must be able to consistently and accurately perform the documentation tasks as assigned
Will demonstrate flexibility in adapting to a situation in which frequent interruptions are inherent
Must be able to transport in Center vehicles both out of town and in town
