About The Position

Broad River Retail is currently seeking a Service Apprentice Craftsman to join our Customer Experience team. The Master Craftsman provides world class customer service while assessing and repairing furniture in the customer’s home. A DAY IN THE LIFE AS THIS MEMORY MAKER: Assessing damages and choosing appropriate methods of repair for wood furniture, leather, fabric, marble, and motion upholstery Working comfortably with hands Displaying an aptitude for craftsmanship, artistic and/or carpentry services Service-oriented, friendly, and helpful attitude with the intention of satisfying the customer 100% while exercising good judgment and strong problem-solving skills. Requirements

Desire for continuous learning and development
Ability to keep accurate records of work performed to assist in statistical record keeping
Demonstrate excellent organizational skills, high level of attention to detail and professionalism
Exhibit a professional appearance at all times and display a strong work ethic
Previous experience including assembling furniture or other goods and/or construction trade with the ability to use power tools safely and efficiently
Product knowledge including various types of furniture and supplies
Proper product handling and manipulation
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
Knowledge of basic computer navigation, including data entry and internet navigation
Knowledge of smartphone usage (i.e., taking photos, emailing, etc.)
Excellent customer service skills, time management skills, and attention to detail while learning and working with a trainer
Clean driving record with a valid drivers' license
High School diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities
