About The Position

Friendly Acura of Middletown is looking to fill a full time position for a Service and Parts department assistant. This candidate will fluctuate between service and parts on a daily basis in the capacity of service advisor, parts counter person Job Description: Ensure that customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service in person and by answering phones Serve as support to the Service Advisors and parts department team Open and close new and used car internal repair orders Provide quotes to sales department for reconditioning of used cars Prioritize required services Oversee the parts sales process from customer inquiry to finding the part to invoicing the customer. Work with parts manager to locate any parts not in stock. Complete special order part request for any parts that need to be ordered for the customer. Communicate with customer on the status of any parts ordered and notify them upon delivery to the dealership. Perform other duties as assigned. Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner. Must follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Ability to answer phones and coordinate service area
  • Must be available to work on Saturdays

  • Previous automotive/dealership service experience highly preferred
