Requirements

  • Previous experience as an automotive service advisor preferred
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor
  • Ability to clearly explain automotive repairs and maintenance to customers
  • Knowledge of dealership service operations and repair order processes
  • Experience using dealership management systems and digital service tools (CDK is a plus!)
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Commitment to dealership policies, manufacturer standards, and customer satisfaction goals
  • Must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers promptly and professionally, creating a welcoming service experience
  • Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues and service requests
  • Prepare clear, detailed repair orders and explain recommended services and maintenance
  • Communicate effectively with technicians regarding diagnostics, repairs, and timelines
  • Provide timely updates to customers throughout the service process
  • Ensure all work is completed according to Acura manufacturer standards and dealership procedures
  • Review completed repairs with customers and explain invoices and future maintenance needs
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation within the dealership service system
  • Handle customer concerns and resolve issues with professionalism and care
