Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in an automotive service environment preferred
  • Strong communication and customer service skills with a friendly, upbeat attitude
  • Ability to explain technical information in a clear, easy-to-understand way
  • Basic automotive knowledge and willingness to learn more
  • Proficiency with computers, appointment scheduling, and dealership management systems (CDK experience is a plus)
  • Must be 18 years or older with, a clean driving record, and able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and build strong relationships by providing a friendly, professional, and customer-first experience.
  • Clearly explain recommended services, maintenance, and repairs to customers in a knowledgeable and easy-to-understand manner.
  • Create accurate repair orders, document concerns, and communicate effectively with technicians to ensure proper diagnosis and repair.
  • Keep customers informed on repair status, timelines, and cost updates, ensuring transparency throughout the service process.
  • Drive customer satisfaction by consistently achieving high CSI scores through exceptional communication and service quality.
  • Maximize service department profitability by identifying maintenance opportunities and promoting dealership services.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments, managing workflow, and ensuring timely vehicle delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with all manufacturer and dealership policies and standards.
