About The Position

As a service advisor, you will play an essential role as one of the first contacts many of our customers have with an employee of Schulte Subaru. The service advisor is responsible for communicating with the customer throughout every step of their service experience, as well as, completing repair orders, and giving guidance to customers on what maintenance should be completed on their vehicle.

Requirements

  • Experience with customer service
  • A professional presence in person and over the phone
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • Team oriented mindset, positive attitude, and energetic personality
  • Offers of employment are contingent upon successfully passing a criminal background check and review of motor vehicle records.

Responsibilities

  • Input and maintain accurate information about customer and vehicle information including in the initial report and final invoice.
  • Determine and recommend needed maintenance to customers based on the age, mileage, and history of the vehicle.
  • Monitor progress of vehicles throughout the day and update customers on that progress
  • Give a detailed explanation of work performed and charges to customers
  • Generate and complete repair orders and collect payments for work performed in a timely manner
  • Gain knowledge of service offerings, products, and mechanical language
  • Assist the service team and management with other tasks and events as needed
