Requirements

  • Brings proven experience in automotive service advising (BMW or other luxury brand experience strongly preferred)
  • Possesses strong upselling skills with a track record of maximizing customer value ethically and transparently
  • Is passionate about building relationships and delivering world-class customer service
  • Demonstrates excellent product knowledge, especially with BMW vehicles, systems, and maintenance needs
  • Excels in communication, follow-up, and problem-solving
  • Thrives in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
  • Is driven, coachable, and aligned with Lithia’s core values
  • Communication skills – communicates effectively with others.
  • Automotive aptitude and knowledge are preferred
  • Time management – managing one’s own time and time of others.
  • Typing – ability to type efficiently in order to enter repair orders.
  • Basic computer & cost calculation skills.
  • Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence.
  • High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer 2 years of experience as a service advisor
  • Automotive aptitude and knowledge are preferred

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist guests with professionalism and enthusiasm
  • Advise customers on their vehicle service needs with expertise and clarity
  • Work closely with technicians, parts, and service management to ensure a seamless experience
  • Maintain meticulous records and follow established processes
  • Contribute to the dealership’s growth through exceptional performance and customer satisfaction
