As a Service Advisor, you will serve as the primary point of contact between our customers and the service department. You will play a key role in ensuring a positive service experience by clearly communicating repair needs, coordinating with technicians, and keeping customers informed throughout the service process. Requirements

  • Previous automotive service advisor experience preferred
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair services
  • Computer proficiency and ability to learn dealership management systems
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude
  • Ability to work collaboratively with technicians and service department staff
  • Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers promptly and professionally when they arrive for service appointments
  • Listen carefully to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues
  • Open and manage repair orders while ensuring all information is accurate and complete
  • Communicate recommended repairs and maintenance services to customers clearly and professionally
  • Provide cost estimates and obtain customer authorization for repairs
  • Coordinate with service technicians to ensure accurate diagnosis and timely repairs
  • Keep customers informed about repair status, delays, or additional service needs
  • Ensure completed work meets dealership quality standards before returning vehicles to customers
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat service visits
