About The Position

Established Ford dealership looking for service advisor. You'll work as a team with one other senior advisor maintaining the service schedule and coordinating communication between customers, technicians, and the parts department. Ability to handle multiple ongoing projects at once is a requirement. Proficiency with online computer programs, passwords, and coding is expected. This is a busy service department. You'll be on your feet and in constant motion. Experience with automotive repair processes would be preferred. Compensation is team-based so only team players survive here.

  • Minimum of 1 year in service department

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience at a Ford dealership is a plus
  • Experience with automotive repair processes would be preferred

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers promptly
  • Obtain customer and vehicle information
  • Listen, Question, & report all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer
  • Determine and recommend maintenance base on age, mileage and history of vehicle
  • Assist Technicians and Parts Counter obtaining a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts
  • Establish follow up time
  • Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and update customers frequently
  • Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order
  • Explain all completed work and charges to customers
  • Coordinate and obtain approval of estimates with after-market warranty companies
