About The Position

SERVICE ADVISOR – WHITEFACE FORD | HEREFORD, TX Compensation and Benefits: Competitive pay Health, dental, and vision insurance Matching 401(k) Paid time off and sick leave Flexible working hours A stable career at a growing dealership with real advancement opportunities Be part of a team with over 400,000 social media followers and national visibility in the automotive industry Responsibilities: Greet customers promptly Obtain customer and vehicle information Clearly report all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer Determine and recommend maintenance based on age, mileage, and history of vehicle Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts Establish follow up time Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day and update customers frequently Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order Explain all completed work and charges to customers Set up loaner cars and verify insurance before maintenance is scheduled Requirements: Minimum of 1 year in a service department Knowledge of automobiles Proven record of achieving exceptional customer satisfaction Past experience as a service advisor, assistant lane manager, or service consultant Ability to identify problems quickly Computer skills and willingness to learn new programs Ability to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Positive, friendly attitude High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience at a Ford dealership is a plus

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year in a service department
  • Knowledge of automobiles
