We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Automotive Service Advisor to join the Pueblo team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking automotive services, ensuring they receive exceptional service and accurate information regarding their vehicle maintenance and repair needs. Your expertise in automotive diagnostics and customer service will be essential in providing a seamless experience for our clients while driving sales through effective upselling of services.

Requirements

• Previous dealership experience is highly preferred.
• Strong background in auto service management or related fields.
• Proven skills in upselling automotive services effectively.
• Experience as a mechanic or service technician with knowledge of automotive diagnostics.
• Familiarity with vehicle maintenance procedures, including oil changes, brake repairs, transmissions, air brakes, alignment, suspension, tire service, diesel engine repair, shocks & struts, and auto body repair.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Proficient in auto estimating and sales techniques related to automotive services.
• Strong attention to detail with cash handling experience preferred.
• A passion for automobiles and a commitment to providing outstanding service.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and professionally, addressing their automotive service needs.
• Assess customer requirements and provide accurate estimates for services, including oil changes, brake repairs, alignments, and more.
• Utilize your mechanical knowledge to explain technical issues to customers in an understandable manner.
• Collaborate with service technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Manage service writing duties, documenting customer requests and technician recommendations accurately.
• Upsell additional services based on vehicle maintenance schedules and customer needs.
• Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales and services rendered.
• Stay informed about the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques to provide the best advice to customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized service area to enhance the customer experience.
