About The Position

Freeway Toyota - Hanford is part of the Victory Automotive Group, a family-owned company operating since 1997 with over 40 locations nationwide. The Service Advisor acts as the main communication link between customers and service technicians. This role involves scheduling service appointments, explaining repairs and maintenance, and managing customer expectations to ensure a positive experience.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • At least one year experience at a dealership or large service facility preferred.
  • Valid and unrestricted driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Professional appearance and dependable work ethic.
  • Strong customer service orientation and safety awareness.
  • Basic computer and internet skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read and understand technical instructions.
  • Physical ability to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • At least one year experience at a dealership or large service facility preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule service appointments in person or by phone, ensuring accurate diagnosis of issues.
  • Follow up on repair status and inform customers of any changes in timing or costs.
  • Recommend necessary repairs and maintenance, managing customer expectations throughout the process.
  • Verify that completed repairs pass quality control and road tests.
  • Stay updated on vehicle operations, warranties, recalls, and technical service bulletins.
  • Meet or exceed service level targets and ensure all paperwork complies with regulations.
  • Adhere to safety policies and participate in all required training and meetings.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
