Ability to make a difference through our Corporate Social Responsibility activities like Planet21 and Employee Wellbeing initiatives What You Will Be Doing: Create a welcoming environment for all guests of fl.2 Knowledge of beverages, menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage Follow outlet policies, procedures and service standards including cash handling and responsible service of alcohol Service all tables assigned in a timely manner, answering guest questions and following dietary restrictions Handle guest recoveries or any concerns raised by guests Set up and tear down of service stations Complete side work and closing/opening duties Assist guests with inquiries Review daily reports, arrival’s, VIP’s and groups in house Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Demonstrable previous experience as a server in a fast paced, upscale restaurant is required
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends required
  • Operational knowledge and proficiency in Point of Sale System advantageous
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly responsible & reliable
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment, while working cohesively as part of a team
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
  • Must have proof of valid U.S. work authorization.
  • Constant standing and walking throughout shift
  • Frequent lifting and carrying up to 25lbs
  • Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
  • Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
  • Ability to stand and be mobile for up to 8 hours
  • Ability to move quickly and efficiently
