About The Position

Senior Resource Group-SRG, with over 30 years of experience, is an innovator in the development and operation of senior living communities across the USA, having received awards for innovative community design, excellent service, and exceptional care. The Server position at The Piedmont at Buckhead involves taking food orders, communicating them to the kitchen, and delivering food and beverages to residents and guests in a timely manner. A key aspect of the role is ensuring resident and guest satisfaction by promptly responding to their needs and requests. Responsibilities also include actively bussing and resetting tables and completing assigned side work. The successful candidate must maintain a positive and professional demeanor towards all residents, visitors, and co-workers, and availability for weekend shifts is required.

Requirements

• Ability to go through food safety training to obtain and/or hold any required local, state, and/or county required food handling/sanitation licenses and/or certificates.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English.
• Basic computer skills for POS system and payroll system.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to maintain a positive and friendly demeanor toward the residents and co-workers.
• Must be available for weekends.
