Requirements

2+ years of direct server experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant or hotel setting
Superior food knowledge including varied ingredients, preparation techniques and cuisine styles
Prior experience in pairing food with wine, spirits, beer, etc.
Ability to work a flexible schedule that will include early mornings, late nights, weekends and holidays
Superior communication skills with fluency in English
Current TIPS certification or ability to successfully obtain certification within the first 30 days of employment
A High School Diploma
Prior experience with up-selling
Physical ability to meet the demands of the position such as carrying/lifting heavy trays during service; walk/stand for extended periods of time while on shift; climb/descend stairs with trays, etc. while on shift
