The Servers/Wait Staff team is an integral part of the Dining Services team, providing support and customer service to residents, ensuring enjoyable meals and conversation. This role is suitable for individuals who enjoy working with people, are currently in school, and are looking for career growth opportunities. Carriage Glen has a variety of full and part-time openings, with shifts paying $15.00 per hour, typically 6-10 hours per week, during Monday-Friday (no weekends needed). Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age, in some locations 18.
• Be familiar with the menu for each meal to assure all items are available and to answer the residents' questions
• Able to read, write, and speak English
• Must have a current food handlers permit.

Responsibilities

• Ensure an extraordinary dining experience for our incredible residents!
• Help set tables, maintaining high standards for cleanliness and presentation.
• Keep the food and beverage area organized and fully-stocked
• Help residents with any meal service assistance they might request or require
• Greet guests, informing them of specials and changes; answering questions and making suggestions
• Process resident orders to ensure items are served promptly
• Promote the Mission, Vision and Values of Transforming Age and our Affiliates.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
