About The Position

This position typically starts at $7.50 per hour and works a variable schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays. Team members begin accruing PTO starting on day one, and full ‑ time employees are eligible for benefits after 90 days. Servers create the extraordinary by assisting patrons with food and beverage selections, offering recommendations, delivering orders, refilling beverages, and ensuring all needs are met throughout the dining experience. Team members are knowledgeable about all menu offerings and specials, maintain a clean and welcoming dining environment, and deliver service in an upbeat, positive manner. Servers build rapport by learning guest names, suggesting items, and offering helpful guidance.

Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of food and beverage products.
  • Must be at least 18 yrs. of age.
  • Must pass a required background check.
  • Must obtain required food handlers permit.
  • Ability to perform basic/intermediate math skills.
  • Ability to operate point of sale systems.
  • Ability to read, write and understand English.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with guests, staff and management.
  • Knowledge, understanding and compliance with policies and procedures, service expectations, job descriptions, daily memorandums, chemical labels and other instructions.
  • Promotes casino events, property services and promotional campaigns
  • Must be able to work individually and as part of a team in collaboration with others
  • Meets attendance guidelines of the job and adhering to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
  • Must be able to stand or walk 8-10 hours at a time.
  • Must be able to bend, twist, turn, squat and rotate body.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds above the head.
  • Must be able to work a fluctuating schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Dexterity to use computerized cash register.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance; arrives on time in full, clean uniform with required name tag, ID, and licenses, ready to work with a heads ‑ up, ready ‑ to ‑ serve mentality.
  • Greets all guests and fellow team members warmly and professionally, in line with our Family Style Service culture.
  • Prepares dining areas by setting tables and ensuring all condiments, utensils, menus, and service items are stocked and presentable.
  • Provides fast, friendly, professional service by presenting menus, answering questions, suggesting food and beverage selections, and promoting specials and events.
  • Accurately records and transmits orders to the kitchen and bar, noting timing, dietary needs, and special requests.
  • Serves food and beverages correctly by delivering orders promptly, replenishing items as needed, maintaining table settings, and anticipating guest needs.
  • Protects guest and workplace safety by following all sanitation, food handling, and alcohol service policies.
  • Processes payments accurately by totaling checks, handling cash or electronic payments, and returning change or receipts promptly.
  • Maintains a clean and organized work area at all times; completes side work, restocking, and end ‑ of ‑ shift duties.
