The Hilton Garden Inn located in Missoula, Montana is looking to add to our hospitality family! The six-story, 146-key hotel is located just outside of downtown Missoula and offers a comprehensive range of amenities including a separate full-service restaurant and 22,000 square feet of meeting space, making it the second largest conference center in the state. Requirements

Knowledge of food service regulations
Strong customer service and interpersonal communications skills required
Able to maintain positive client relationships
Able to easily and quickly lift and carry heavy trays
Speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language, proficiently.
Able to utilize quick thinking and apply quick resolution to guest issues in accordance to the brand standards
Excellent conflict-resolution skills
Able to work in fast paced environment
Able to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks
State issued Food Handlers Card
Any requirements unique to local and state regulations required
Brand standards and/or additional training required

Nice To Haves

High School Graduate or GED preferred
Previous server experience preferred

Responsibilities

Presents menu, answers questions and makes suggestions regarding food and service
Writes order on check or memorizes it
Relays and/or enters order into POS system for the kitchen and serves courses from kitchen and/or bar
Observes guest to fulfill any additional requests and to perceive when meal has been completed
Clear and reset counters and tables at conclusion of each patron
May have to clean dishes
Clean restaurant area
Maintains a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Adheres to all safety and brand standards
Responds to guest requests and complaints timely, efficiently, appropriately and in a friendly manner.
Maintains professional image at all times through appearance and dress
Follows Company policies and procedures
Operates in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws including OSHA, EEOC, wage and hour, and health code laws
Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management
