About The Position

The Server is responsible for providing exceptional table service in an Asian cuisine restaurant environment. This role ensures that guests have a memorable dining experience by delivering accurate orders, knowledgeable menu guidance, and attentive service, while maintaining the restaurant’s high standards of presentation and hospitality. Greet and seat guests in a friendly, professional manner.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and etiquette.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Standing and walking for extended periods.
• Lifting and carrying trays up to 25–40 pounds.
• Frequent bending, reaching, and handling of tableware.

Nice To Haves

• Previous full service-dining or Asian cuisine service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
• Provide menu recommendations and explain specialty dishes, ingredients, and preparation methods.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly and accurately, ensuring correct presentation and portioning.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to questions, concerns, or special requests.
• Prepare tables for service, including arranging place settings, utensils, and condiments according to restaurant standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned section and dining areas.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and coordinated service.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and hygiene guidelines.
• Process payments accurately and efficiently.
• Assist in training new servers as needed.
