POSITION SUMMARY: Ensure the highest level of resident and guest satisfaction by offering prompt, professional, courteous, and dedicated services. Actively contribute to the department in order to complete tasks, meet goals, or manage projects. Overall, this position is responsible for and dedicated to providing recognition, satisfaction, and value to the residents and their guests, while continuously improving efficiency, accuracy, productivity, and service standards.

Responsibilities

Greeting residents upon arrival at the restaurant
Wine Knowledge: Have a thorough understanding of the wines-by-the-glass program, including appropriate pairings, and a working knowledge of the wine cellar, proper wine service techniques (e.g., decanting, glassware), as well as a strong grasp of the beer and non-alcoholic beverage offerings.
Beverage Expertise: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the cocktail, including an understanding of available spirits, history, and flavor profiles.
Resident Engagement: Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly, and always provide exceptional service, regardless of the time of day or how busy the restaurant is.
Providing excellent customer service during their dining experience
Taking feedback from residents
Cleaning tables following the standards
Carrying drinks and food from the kitchen or bar area to the tables
Memorizing the food menu and wine list as well as any nightly specials
Setting tables throughout the shift
Understanding of food safety and how viruses and bacteria can spread
Familiarity with local food safety regulations and other laws
Successfully completing ongoing training & certifications
