About Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood is the flagship casino resort of Hard Rock International, owned by the Seminole Tribe of Florida. Job Description: Essential Job Functions: Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures. Take guest orders, serves drinks and collects monies in a courteous and efficient manner. Adhere to cash handling procedures. Ensure guest satisfaction in assigned areas and other areas if necessary. Adhere to state liquor laws and TIPS training guidelines. Keep bar and service area clean, sanitary and organized at all times. Adhere to beverage control procedures. Adhere to all regulatory, departmental and company policies and procedures. Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate managers of concerns and observations. Demonstrate actions and behaviors that reinforce the Company’s Mission and Values of Communication, Integrity, Fun, Respect, Accountability, Passion and Dedication. Ensure prompt and discreet notification to managers and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts or internal ethics violations. Promote positive guest and team member relations. Acts as a role model for the department and an ambassador of the service culture. Conducts one-on-one training of new hire Cocktail Servers, answer employee questions, ensure that the task inventories are complete, including testing (by observation) employees on each of the following tasks: taking guest orders, serving drinks, collecting monies, cash handling procedures, organization and sanitation of the bar and service area, beverage control procedures. Is prepared for training assignments at any given time, without advanced notice. Maintenance of task inventory, training materials, SOPs and side work for Cocktail Servers. Ensures that employees are immediately retrained when SOP certification is not achieved. Maintains the library of SOP’s and ensure that the information is up-to-date and readily available to all Beverage staff. Conducts monthly active testing and gain feedback on how well employees are retaining material. Ensures Alcohol Awareness Training Certifications for all Cocktail Servers on an ongoing basis.
