About The Position
Join us for this incredible opportunity to be part of our F&B team as a Server at Thompson Dallas conveniently located in downtown Dallas, by the Akard Street stop of the DART train. Essentials include 219 rooms with 52 suites; three full-service offerings for dining and drink; a boutique spa and fitness experience focused on wellness, a variety of spaces for events, including the 14,000 square foot National Ballroom. Thompson Dallas, part of the boundless Hyatt Hotels Corporation portfolio, with its stunning mid-century modern hexagon design, rises above the Dallas Skyline and will bring guests and community together through an inspired tribute to history, design and culture. Servers are responsible for submitting and presenting guest beverage selections. The right person will gain menu knowledge and give recommendations from our compilation of libations. Servers engage in casual conversation and must maintain an attractive setting. Their style and service attributes are key to creating the guest experience.
Requirements
- Refined verbal communication skills.
- Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight.
- Must be able to work on weekends

- Upscale Beverage programming experience preferred
- Deep cocktail knowledge beyond the basics
- Curation of complicated cocktail knowledge
