About The Position

Responsible for delivering food, beverages and service to guests in a manner that exceeds the guests’ expectations.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Previous server experience is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to attain commanding knowledge of menu items, non-alcoholic beverages, liquors, wines and beers.
  • Ability to follow the steps of service.
  • Ability to use the Point of Sale System in an accurate and speedy manner.
  • Possess extremely strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Ability to follow directions thoroughly.
  • Possess excellent people and communication skills.
  • Ability to recognize signs of intoxications.
  • Ability to collect monies and make accurate change.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to stand or walk constantly, 100% of shift
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, lift, push and pull materials throughout shift

Responsibilities

  • Takes orders and delivers food and beverages for the guests.
  • Explains the menu and specials to the guest.
  • Suggestively sells appetizers, salads, entrees, desserts and beverage items.
  • Responsible for maintaining required levels of supplies in the dining room.
  • Responsible for the complete service of the table.
  • Knows all menu items and methods of preparations.
  • Knows all pricing, coupon and discount information.
  • Cheerfully accommodates the needs and requests of any guest.
  • Assists in running food out to the guests.
  • Assists other team members in completing their assigned duties and tasks.
  • Accurately collects and manages monies for food and beverages served.
  • Knows store information (hours of operation, phone numbers, managers, location).
  • Completes pre-shift setup, running and post shift closing duties.
  • Re-stocks and replenishes essential items and supplies for the dining room.
  • Continuously maintains a neat, clean, organized, safe and comfortable environment for guests.
  • Maintains and strictly abides by sanitation/health regulations.
  • Adheres to appearance and uniform standards.
  • Adheres to all restaurant standards, policies and procedures.
  • Additional duties may be assigned as the needs arise
