About The Position

Grinders Above and Beyond is a family-owned restaurant established in 1976, known for serving great food with a wonderful staff. The company values every employee as a key ingredient to its success. After training, the server will be proficient in all food and beverage items on the menu. The role involves warmly greeting guests, ensuring an excellent dining experience, setting up tables, managing a server bank, handling change, and cashing out guests. Servers are expected to be team players, support colleagues, and serve guests quickly and accurately, with the ability to manage five tables per section.

Requirements

Experienced in serving
Ability to handle five tables per section
Must be able to perform all job descriptions and tasks assigned by management

Responsibilities

Have knowledge of all food and beverage items offered on menu (after training)
Greet guests with a warm, friendly smile and go above and beyond to make sure they have the best dining experience
Arrange and set up guests tables in assigned section
Be responsible for having server bank, counting back change, cashing out guests
Perform all job descriptions and tasks assigned by management
Be a team player and help support other staff in their duties
Serve guests speedily and accurately
