About The Position

SUMMARY/MAIN OBJECTIVE: To provide quality service and meals to the customers while following proper food handling, health and safety guidelines/procedures. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. Deliver courteous, efficient customer service. Serve and portion food in accordance with quality and presentation standards. Assist cooks with food preparation, proper usage, storage, and waste control. Prepare meats, poultry, seafood, vegetables, fruits, and other menu items as directed. Maintain appropriate food levels during operating hours. Ensure compliance with food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures at all times. Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, service areas, dining areas, and storage spaces before, during, and after service. Verify that tools and equipment are clean, functional, and properly maintained. Operate a vehicle safely for food deliveries as required. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Plain black shirt or polo and pants (minimal print acceptable) Kitchen headgear (cap or hairnet for long hair) Closed-toe, non-slip shoes with socks Facial hair net (for facial hair longer than ½ inch) Attire must not display offensive or inappropriate content PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Frequent standing, walking, reaching, and active movement Ability to lift up to 10 lbs frequently and up to 60 lbs occasionally Tolerance to seafood and sanitation chemicals (e.g., chlorine solutions) Ability to wear vinyl or latex gloves Ability to remain active for extended periods POSITION TYPE: This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Requirements

  • Valid Health Certificate (Required)
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum one (1) year kitchen or food & beverage experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to safely operate kitchen equipment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Valid driver’s license (required for delivery duties)

Nice To Haves

  • ServSafe Certification (Preferred)
  • Kitchen / F&B experience is highly preferred (1 Year)
