About The Position

The Wyndham Deerfield Beach Resort is looking for enthusiastic and outgoing individuals who are passionate about providing excellent customer service to join our team. As a Restaurant Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, delivering food and drinks, and providing outstanding customer service. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner. Requirements

Ability to memorize menu items, descriptions, and prices
Ability to handle multiple orders simultaneously
Ability to take guests' orders accurately and in a timely fashion
Ability to recommend menu items
Ability to upsell menu items
Ability to handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally
Ability to operate a cash register
Ability to understand and follow health and safety regulations
Ability to work well with fellow servers and kitchen staff
Ability to properly clean and reset tables
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Ability to stand for long periods of time

Responsibilities

Greet customers upon arrival and provide them with menus
Take orders and serve food and drinks to customers
Check with customers to ensure that they are enjoying their meals
Process customer payments and provide change
Process customer orders in a timely and efficient manner
Clean tables and remove used dishes
Set up tables with clean linen, condiments, and other needed items
Answer questions about menu items and make recommendations
Ensure that all food and drinks are served in accordance with health and safety regulations
Refill drinks as needed
Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction
Provide excellent customer service to all guests
