Please note: Flying V Restaurant is currently undergoing renovations. This position is anticipated to begin in late January to early February. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in professionalism, menu knowledge, and creating memorable moments for every guest. Confidence, attention to detail, and strong communication are essential in this role. Requirements

  • Previous restaurant or hospitality experience
  • Strong guest service and communication skills
  • Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 40–50 pounds as needed
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
  • TIPS alcohol-service certification

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with POS systems
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests promptly and present menus with confidence and professionalism
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders, including dietary preferences and special requests
  • Serve food and beverages efficiently while ensuring quality and presentation standards
  • Maintain thorough menu and wine knowledge to provide pairing suggestions
  • Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction throughout their visit
  • Process payments accurately using POS systems
  • Communicate guest needs or special requests to the kitchen or bar promptly
  • Keep tables and surrounding areas clean, tidy, and properly stocked
  • Assist with opening, closing, and restocking duties
  • Support team members to ensure timely and coordinated service
  • Address guest concerns professionally and escalate when needed
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
