Requirements

Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings and weekends
Must be 17 years of age or older

Responsibilities

Take direction from Event Managers, Culinary, Operation and Lead staff
Attends pre shift meetings with event managers and team to review event’s briefing and timing
Ensure the set-up in all service areas are executed in a timely manner, not limited to moving tables, chairs and equipment
Identify opportunities and ensure that guest’s expectations are being met
Maintain and able to pass appetizers and beverages while providing guest services thought out cocktail hour
Able to work with a dining room lead and team members to serve plated or strolling cuisine, pour water and wine tableside and support in a fine dining environment
Deliver outstanding service throughout the event process
Properly use and maintain service equipment at each event
Practice lateral service and actively look for ways to help people
Take on additional responsibilities as assigned from time to time by management
Work as a team member to ensure cleanliness at the end of the event in all service and culinary areas
Be a catalyst for continuous improvement
Handle company and vendor rentals and equipment to avoid damage and breakage
