Requirements

  • High school diploma preferred/GED accepted
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in fine dining hospitality and/or full service senior living
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Competent in organizational, time management skills
  • Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Must be able to operate in a fast paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with seniors
  • Prior service and/or kitchen experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment by following all sanitation procedures, safety guidelines, and proper use of equipment, including dishwashing machinery and personal protective gear
  • Wash, sanitize, and properly store all dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and utensils while ensuring
  • Cleaning supplies are stocked and chemical dispensers are functioning correctly
  • Support both kitchen and dining operations by removing trash, clearing soiled dishes, and transporting items efficiently between dining and dishwashing areas
  • Provide friendly and attentive service to residents by taking orders, learning names and preferences, accommodating dietary needs, and responding promptly to requests
  • Set up and maintain dining areas by ensuring all service items (silverware, napkins, menus, condiments) are clean, stocked, and ready for use
  • Follow proper food handling practices and assist with the preparation and service of beverages, salads, desserts, snacks, and condiments
