General Description:
Our Cashiers are the friendly face of The Great Greek. They are the main point of contact for all guests therefore, as a Cashier, you’re in charge of welcoming customers, taking their orders, helping them by guiding them through a great experience from the moment they walk in and sending them off with a smile. Often, people need help to try new things so they rely on you to kindly suggest different menu items to help transport their taste buds to the next level! You need to be outgoing and friendly to ensure the best possible experience for each and every guest, even in high stress situations. Cashiers have the dual responsibility of direct customer interaction and money handling.

Requirements

• You are at least 18 years of age
• You can follow instructions accurately and efficiently
• You can perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• You have reliable transportation
• You are able to lift a minimum of 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Smile and greet all guests
• Be accurate in cash handling and credit card procedures
• Be accurate in order taking
• Set up or close down the dining room, restrooms, and patios
• Answer the phone using and taking call in orders
• Direct customers inside the restaurant
• Professionally serve dishes to dine-in guests
• Help pre-bus and clean the dining room during service
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area
• Smile, be friendly, helpful, and polite
• Assist expo whenever possible
• Be able to explain the menu and suggestively sell to all customers
