About The Position

As the SEO Strategist at OuterBox, you will own and execute the SEO strategy for the internal OuterBox brand. This role combines deep technical SEO expertise, creative content development, and emerging AI-driven search optimization to help OuterBox dominate the digital marketing landscape. You’ll be both strategist and tactician, hands-on with keyword research, on-site optimization, link building, content writing, and off-site reputation management on channels like Reddit and Quora. KPIs: Organic MQL growth Non-branded organic traffic Keyword rankings AI Visibility/share of voice Inbound link growth Domain authority growth Technical SEO health score Brand visibility

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive SEO plans to grow organic traffic, leads, and brand authority for OuterBox.com.
  • Audit and optimize site structure, metadata, internal linking, schema, and page experience to maximize crawlability and rankings.
  • Drive website content strategy and assist with the writing and optimization of landing pages, blog posts, and resources aligned to SEO and conversion goals — including content tailored for generative AI engines (ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.).
  • Partner with developers to resolve site issues, improve Core Web Vitals, and enhance site performance and indexation.
  • Identify and secure high-quality backlinks, partnerships, and brand mentions to build authority and visibility.
  • Experiment with and deploy strategies to improve brand visibility across AI-powered search experiences.
  • Represent OuterBox across forums like Reddit, Quora, and other relevant industry platforms to expand visibility and authority.
  • Track keyword performance, conversions, and content ROI using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and Ahrefs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in performance marketing, social media, and content marketing.
