About The Position

Metro Vein Centers is a rapidly growing healthcare practice specializing in state-of-the-art vein treatments. Our board-certified physicians and expert staff are on a mission to improve people’s quality of life by relieving the painful, yet highly treatable symptoms of vein disease—such as varicose veins and heavy, aching legs. With over 60 clinics across 7 states, and still growing, we’re building the future of vein care—delivering compassionate, results-driven care in a modern, patient-first environment. We proudly maintain a Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 93, the highest patient satisfaction in the industry. We’re looking for a hands-on, results-driven SEO Specialist to lead tactical execution across both local and organic SEO, with a strong pulse on modern AEO and LLM search strategies. You will be instrumental in scaling our presence across search engines, improving local map pack rankings, managing reputation signals, and driving qualified website traffic and patient leads. The ideal candidate has 2–3+ years of experience in SEO, is highly organized, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-moving team environment. A plus if you’ve worked in multi-location or healthcare businesses.

Requirements

  • 2–3+ years of hands-on SEO experience, ideally in healthcare, wellness, or multi-location consumer services
  • Strong experience with both local and organic SEO
  • Track record of increasing local pack rankings and organic traffic through effective SEO strategy
  • Experience with tools like GA4, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and Tableau
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS, structured data, and web design best practices
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with devs, designers, marketers, and external agencies
  • Deep understanding of SEO KPIs and ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations
  • Experience operating under HIPAA-compliant marketing practices or similar data-sensitive environments

  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize Google Business Profiles across 65+ clinic locations
  • Own local citation building, accuracy, and optimization across major directories (e.g., Healthgrades, Vitals, Yelp, Bing Places)
  • Monitor and manage online reviews, reputation signals, and NAP consistency across platforms
  • Collaborate with clinic teams to surface and respond to patient reviews to support trust and visibility
  • Lead on-page optimizations: meta tags, URL structure, internal linking, alt tags, and content formatting
  • Perform ongoing keyword research to inform content and targeting strategies
  • Build out SEO-optimized content briefs for blog and service pages, with performance goals
  • Advise on content hierarchy and UX design for landing pages, in collaboration with dev and design teams
  • Build backlinks from relevant, authoritative, and trusted websites to our core pages
  • Partner closely with our web development agency on technical SEO updates including site speed, mobile performance, crawlability, indexation, and Core Web Vitals
  • Recommend structured data/schema markup for rich results, local pack visibility, and AEO (answer engine optimization)
  • QA SEO implementation across new and existing pages
  • Advise on SEO-forward website architecture and design improvements
  • Track and report on SEO KPIs using tools like GA4, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Tableau, or Looker
  • Monitor keyword rankings, traffic sources, and local pack performance
  • Maintain SEO dashboards and share monthly insights with marketing and leadership teams
  • Navigate data privacy requirements with a strong understanding of HIPAA-compliant SEO tracking
  • Stay ahead of evolving search trends, including Google SGE, ChatGPT/LLM answer engine behavior, and voice search
  • Recommend strategies to future-proof Metro Vein Centers’ visibility in AI-powered discovery platforms
