About The Position

We're looking for a highly skilled SEO/GEO Manager to lead both traditional Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and emerging Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategies across our client portfolio. This role requires a strong understanding of technical SEO, content optimization, and the rapidly evolving AI-driven search landscape including visibility within generative search experiences like Google AIO, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot, and other LLM-powered engines. Local SEO remains an important part of the role, but the emphasis is on helping clients adapt to AI-driven search behaviors and ensure their visibility in generative responses.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of SEO experience, ideally with exposure to AI/GEO strategy
  • Strong technical SEO foundation (schema, sitemaps, and site architecture)
  • Experience with local SEO best practices (Google Business Profiles, local citations and content)
  • Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, etc.
  • Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS) such as Sitefinity, Kentico, Sitecore, Contentstack, etc.
  • Ability to analyze data, extract insights, and present strategy clearly
  • Strong communication and time management skills

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive SEO and GEO strategies that improve visibility in both traditional search results and AI-driven generative search experiences
  • Conduct comprehensive SEO audits with a focus on AI readiness: technical health, structured data, semantic content, and entity optimization
  • Implement and test new schema types, structured data formats, and content frameworks that improve inclusion in AI-generated search responses
  • Lead local SEO (when applicable) by advising clients on Google Business Profiles, local citations, and localized content
  • Conduct advanced keyword and topic research, including topical clustering and semantic mapping for generative search ecosystems
  • Collaborate with digital UX strategy, development, design, and digital marketing teams to guide creation of AI-ready content that's optimized for bots, well structured, and aligns with user intent
  • Optimize metadata, headers, content structure, and image alt attributes using best practices for both search engines and generative models
  • Identify and work with internal teams to improve technical website components tied to AI visibility such as site speed, Core Web Vitals, crawlability, structured content, and site architecture
  • Report on performance and KPIs
  • Stay ahead of search and AI trends and recommend testing opportunities both internally and with clients
  • Train internal teams on GEO/SEO best practices and evolving industry changes
  • Support sales and account teams with audits, proposals, and strategic recommendations
