Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Manager of Programs 2 - NGLS (Launch Systems) IMT (Internal Work Order Management Team) Support Equipment and Transport Lead . This position will be located in Roy, Utah will support the Sentinel (GBSD) program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package. What You'll Get To Do: As the NGLS IMT Support Equipment and Transport Lead, you will lead a dynamic cross functional team managing major supplier support equipment efforts by providing Program Management leadership, technical leadership, and direction in support of multi-million-dollar projects. Your primary focus within the IMT is managing the vast scope associated with Booster for support equipment and transportation. The IMT includes contributors from multiple organizations: • IMT Program Manager (Supporting IMT Booster Lead) • Global Supply Chain (GSC) • Mission Assurance (MA) • Production • Engineering • Business Management • Various support functions The IWO Support Equipment and Transport Lead will perform the following: Supports and monitors technical performance baselines, compares key subcontract technical performance measures, assesses execution status, and takes appropriate action to maintain conformance with the baseline Identifies and addresses impacts through a systematic and proactive approach to Risk and Opportunity Management Communicates, monitors, and promptly resolves issues across all functional elements within the IMT, including the supplier Manages and balances communications with stakeholders through organized and disciplined processes ensuring that Subcontract information is defined, collected, shared, understood, stored, and retrieved in a manner that effectively meets Subcontract and stakeholder needs while protecting the company's contractual rights Effectively plans, defines, establishes, communicates, monitors, and controls scope to ensure that all of the work required and only the work required, is performed.
