What You'll Get To Do: Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) is seeking a Principal/Sr. Principal Cloud Engineer who will take part in the design, build, deploy, and maintenance of cloud-based systems and infrastructure to help the Digital Ecosystem Segment store data, run applications, and manage IT services efficiently and securely. Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable, reliable cloud infrastructure using IaC principles. Take part in developing and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes. Assist in automating operational processes and implementing the best tools and technologies to support development and operations. Help to enforce best practices for system security and compliance holistically throughout the environment. Support incident response efforts, including root cause analysis, to resolve system issues, and implement preventative measures. Proactively monitor cloud systems for performance, security issues, and potential problems, then implement solutions to optimize efficiency and resource utilization. Use scripting languages to automate routine administrative tasks, improving efficiency and reducing human error.
