About The Position

Provide the general direction, training, and motivation to welding personnel regarding welding/manufacturing, safety, quality, production, housekeeping, tooling, manpower, and company policies.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
Three (3) years of robotic welding and manufacturing experience preferred
Excellent communication skills and presentation skills, both oral and written
Basic robot skills (program change, adjusting points)
Strong organizational skills.
Basic mechanic skills
Excellent analytical ability and problem-solving
Display the use of independent judgment and initiative.
Available to work any shifts for training or other operational needs if needed.

Nice To Haves

Technical schooling or college education related to robotic welding is a plus

Responsibilities

Direct and train personnel in safety, quality, production, & housekeeping
Monitor production and quality attainment through the use of daily production and quality reports
Assist in the investigation and correction of substandard production and quality.
Monitor and direct compliance to all welding/manufacturing standard operating procedures and maintain all established Company standards
Operate within guidelines set forth by scheduling
Work in conjunction with manufacturing engineering and teams to ensure improvements are being realized.
Setup jobs correctly on robotic welders, resistance welders, manual welders, and leak testers
Inventory control of all weld components, weld consumables, and all other materials at weld cells
Performing basic operations, troubleshooting and PM's on the Fanuc and OTC Daihen robots
Troubleshooting of leak testers, resistance welders, weld fixtures, and any other areas that troubleshooting is needed
The position works with Engineering and Management on all current and new projects
Other duties as assigned by Management
